Happy Day Face
Ha cannot see the source
Dropped on the origin
The air pushes it back
Falling to his face
His breath like a wave
Crashing onto the rocky air
Liquid white plastic
Up, on his sandy skin
Now a creation
A new candy face
Expanding ‘n laying hold
Of each surface grain
Reaching the perimeter
At a perfect direct rate
Self-adhesive in place
Quickly cold shell
Protecting.
Confining.
Pretty in place
It moves in the opposite direction
Of his face
It moves in the same direction
Of his face
Plasters his prefrontal cortex
Stagnant, comfortable
Cools and numbs his lips
Tapping up to his nose
(You feel)
The smooth roll
But no holes
He doesn’t breath
The same air
He tries to open
His eyes are shut
Open to: image
Behind
The white candy shell
This is how
The happy day face
is made.
