No doubt he’d left his mark. And he knew it. Ty relished in this fact, he beat me and the marks on my body would never let me forget what he did. He told me I had to pay for letting my brother leave. He screams obsenities about Alain. He shouts to me that all this pain is because he left, but I know it’s much more. I heard from Alain during the week, well about Alain.

“Greetings from Haran

I would like to start off by thanking you for letting Alain come to us. He is sharing with us everyday all about you and his life with you. He also says that he can’t bring himself to talk to you all again, it’s why I am writing this letter.

My name is Yesus, as you know I am Yuels’ father (or Jewls as she prefers in Amorinia). She tells me every week how well you are taking care of her. Thank you for that. We too try to look after Alain as best we can. When he first came we all knew that it was for the best but Alain had doubts, we told him you had it all under control. I hope you are coping without him. We can now justly say that we don’t know what we would do without him. Each day he is such an inspiration, but I can tell he is growing exponentially. His maturity I assure you is now at a place where we all stand in awe. The way he says things and what and how he does things definitely exceeds our expectations daily. We were told how much of a blessing he is but now I can now see, with my own eyes he is that which you say he is. Never have I seen in my whole experience of living a young man who gives of himself through learning more about himself. The truths he makes known to us really are appreciated. The grattitude I wish to express is beyond this language, as I am already impaired in. I too hope this letter serves as a comfort to you. Alain will always be a part of you and your family, forever. It is because of you all that he is such a remarkable person. He doesn’t wail over what he has lost but I can tell he waits to be reconcilled with his family again. I try every time I see him to give him what he had with you back in Amorinia but I know you are the only ones who could give him what he truly longs for. Sometimes I see him in an utter daze, not with us at all but with you. It must be hard knowing that he is with another family, not where he belongs, but I see him in a place he now belongs. There was a reason you sent him here and you should take solace in that. Each time you sense that gap, know he is safe here.
